In the middle of the picture is the church of St. Nikolaus Übersee which is about 10 kilometres away from the photo location. Right behind to the left you can spot Marquartstein castle. You can clearly see the radio mast on top of the Kitzbüheler Horn (1,996 metres high) which is about 50 kilometres away from the photo locaton. Right of the Kitzbüheler Horn are Kleinvenediger (3,648 m) and Großvenediger (3,657 m – both are about 90 kilometres away). The dominant snowy mountain in the picture is the Unterberghorn (1,773 m).

The Kampenwand (1,669 m) is the most distinctive summit of the Chiemgauer Alps.
