The museum grounds of the Salzburger Freilichtmuseum cover 50 hectars. There are 100 authentic and original historical buildings rebuilt on the museum grounds, telling tales of historic farming, trades, rural crafts and manufacturing. A historic heritage railway leads through the scenic natural landscape of the museum grounds.
