The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park, Utah
"The Needles forms the southeast corner of Canyonlands and was named for the colorful spires of Cedar Mesa Sandstone that dominate the area. Hiking trails offer many opportunities for long day hikes." (National Park Service Website) – I've hiked some of the most scenic trails during several visits to The Needles District. Photographs are from spring of the year 2012.
