Wild Strawberries is a 1957 Swedish drama film written and directed by famous film director Ingmar Bergman. The film won the Golden Bear for Best Film at the 8th Berlin International Film Festival in 1958. It is often considered to be one of Bergman's greatest films and even one of the greatest films ever made.

Fragaria vesca, commonly called Wild Strawberry, Woodland Strawberry, Fraisier des bois (french) or Walderdbeere (german), is a perennial herbaceous plant in the rose family that grows naturally throughout much of the Northern Hemisphere, and that produces edible fruits that most people love to eat. :-)
